College Info - Provides links to resources about financial aid for college. http://www.finaid.org/

CollegeNET- This is a complete online guide to colleges, universities, graduate programs and financial aid. Find the perfect college for you with the college search engine, online application and free financial aid search and information http://www.collegenet.com/

Wired Scholar – Information about applying to and getting into college, from the federal government office, Sallie Mae. Includes information specifically for high school juniors and seniors. http://www.wiredscholar.com/global/students/students.jsp

Community Services

Baltimore Citizen resources, from the official Baltimore City web site. Resources include categories of “Useful Information,” “News Sources,” “Public Facilities,” “Elected Officials,” “Higher Education,” and many other resources related to Baltimore. http://www.ci.baltimore.md.us/citizen/

Baltimore City Services. This is a very useful list on the Baltimore City web site that lists services that are available in Baltimore. http://www.ci.baltimore.md.us/services/

Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office. This web site provides community information, personal safety tips, victim and witness information, directions to the various courthouses, tour and speaker information, press releases, legal research, and other areas. Information is also available in Spanish. http://www.stattorney.org/

Family League of Baltimore, a quasi-public, non-profit organization, has the
role of focusing attention and resources on improving the well being of children and families by engaging communities and encouraging public and private partnerships.

Education News site – This site provides daily updates to what is going on in the world of education. It is a collection of education-related articles from local, national and international newspapers.
